If you or your children frequently suffer from ear infections, here are five of the main causes of these common issues.
Even fungal infections. So fungus, if you think about it, where does it live? Usually in a dark moist place. Think about the ear canals that is often why fungus is correlated to chronic ear infections.
Chronic allergies are another key cause, as they make you more susceptible to ear infections. The inflammation caused by allergies, along with symptoms like sneezing and coughing, can lead to fluid buildup and discharge in the ear area, increasing the risk of infections, especially in children.
On my list is smoking. If you are a smoker, unfortunately, this is going to increase your risk of ear infections.
Air pressure changes can also contribute to ear issues. If you've ever felt pressure in your ears while flying, traveling at different elevations, or even in a car, you know how it feels. This pressure can be particularly problematic for those who are prone to ear infections.
Another common cause of ear infections that you may not have considered is chronic inflammation. Many people today live in a state of constant inflammation due to factors like spending more time indoors, less exposure to natural light, and increased exposure to artificial light and EMFs. This chronic inflammation can also affect the ear canals, contributing to recurrent ear infections.
