5 Tips to fix Leptin Resistance

The good news is that I have five tips to help you to fix that leptin resistance, so if you're having trouble losing weight, it may be related to something called leptin resistance. This is something where your fat cells are sending signals to your brain about whether you need to gain weight, find more food, or if you are good and can burn fat.

Tip #1: Stop eating three hours before going to bed.

The first piece of advice is to avoid eating or drinking anything three hours before going to bed since leptin can only be secreted when the body is in a low insulin condition, so it's crucial to attempt to fast before going to bed.

Tip #2 Sunlight on Skin & Eyes

Wake up with the sun and go outside to look towards the east whether you can see the sun or not important to get natural light in your eyes so no sunglasses and ideally no contact lenses no glasses so direct natural light in your eyes don't look right at the Sun but also getting Natural Healthy sunlight exposure throughout the day is going to do a lot to help with your leptin seedling. This is tip number two to fix leptin resistance.

Tip #3 Get Cold

Use cold to your advantage by taking a cold shower, conducting ice dunks, or even applying ice packs to areas of your body where you have additional body fat to stimulate leptin signalling. This is tip number three.

Tip #4 High Protein

Big Breakfast Eat a large breakfast and concentrate on getting enough protein and good fats. Maybe a little amount of carbs, but if you're attempting to lose weight in the beginning, you might want to seriously restrict the amount of carbohydrates you have at breakfast. In general, seafood will do a lot to provide you with the nutrients and DHA you need for a healthy leptin seedling.

Tip #5 Block Blue Light & EMFs

Tip number five is to block that blue light, so all of the artificial light from your devices, artificial light in light bulbs, and especially the energy efficient light bulbs are really having a negative impact in terms of them being stronger in that blue light in your eyes it's messing up your circadian rhythms and also your leptin signalling so that's something that you can do as well as limiting your exposure to non-native EMFs, which are man-made EMFs electromagnetic fields.
