Introduction
Here are nine tips you need to know about mold detox. Mold can compromise your health if you have been exposed in your environment. These nine tips are really going to help you.
Tip #1: Stop Exposure
Discovering a mold issue in your home, office, or cottage is concerning. It’s crucial to have it professionally evaluated and, most importantly, safely removed. This is one situation where it’s best not to handle it yourself. Especially if the mold is hidden behind walls, in construction materials, or in an older building, you should avoid using bleach. Many people mistakenly believe bleach is effective, but it can actually worsen the problem by causing mold spores to spread further into the environment. It’s essential to have mold issues addressed by professionals.
Tip #2: Air Purifiers, Ventilation, Sunlight Exposure
Consider investing in air purifiers and increasing ventilation in the affected area by opening windows. The best solution is natural sunlight exposure. Mold typically thrives in dark, damp environments, so enhancing sunlight and light exposure is key to preventing mold growth.
Tip #3: Limit EMFs, Get Outside
Limit your exposure to EMFs, as non-natural electromagnetic fields can exacerbate mold growth. This has been studied and evaluated, and following nature’s guidance becomes crucial. Reconnecting with nature is especially important if you're experiencing symptoms of mold toxicity. Spending time outdoors in natural sunlight and grounding yourself—two practices I often emphasize in my videos—are vital for recovery after mold exposure.
Tip #4: Full-Body Detox & Heavy Metal Detox
A full-body detox, particularly eliminating heavy metals, is crucial. Fungus thrives on heavy metals like mercury, which many of us are exposed to at some point. One effective option is chlorella, a blue-green algae. I highly recommend it because it aids in detoxifying mycotoxins from mold and fungal exposure.
Tip #5: IR Sauna
Infrared sauna sessions are an effective method for mold detox, as they help eliminate toxins through perspiration. This process is especially beneficial for removing heavy metals. It’s important to wipe off sweat during your sauna session to support the detox process. Additionally, the heat shock proteins activated during sauna use can boost your immunity, making it a valuable tool in your mold detox journey.
Tip #6: Salt Bath
A salt bath with added herbal remedies is an excellent way to detoxify and support your microbiome. Some of my favorite herbs for this are cloves, artemisia, black walnut, and oregano, all of which can also help address fungal issues. Simply open capsules of this herbal combination and add them to your salt bath for a powerful full-body detox, especially effective for mold detox.
Tip #7: Parasite & Candida Cleanse
After using the herbal remedies mentioned above, it’s essential to restore the beneficial bacteria in your gut. Taking probiotics is crucial for maintaining a healthy microbiome and supporting your mold detox process.
Tip #8: Supplements
Supportive supplements like magnesium, particularly magnesium bisglycinate, and vitamin C are highly beneficial for your immune system, especially if you've been chronically exposed to mold. Magnesium helps to bind and eliminate heavy metal toxins, while also supporting the body in dealing with chronic candida and fungal issues. These essential minerals play a key role in your recovery.
Tip #9: Lymphatic Drainage Massage
It's crucial to support the drainage of your lymphatic system to boost your immune function. The lymphatic system works alongside your immune system to help eliminate toxins and waste from the body. To stay healthy, it's important to keep both your blood and lymphatic flow functioning smoothly.
