High Fiber Foods

High fiber foods will help your colon detox as well as doing it with raw veggies. Raw veggies will help to detox your colon and you may not be able to do it raw at the beginning when you're first fixing your microbiome but as your gut heals, you will be able to have more and more. Although if you have to steam them lightly usually under four minutes at the beginning is my best recommendation for increasing and helping with that colon detox and increasing those bowel movements.

Chitin (Shrimp Shells)

Now chitin is something that i love, so eat a little bit of those shrimp shells. This actually is really important for your microbiome and this has been studied so the chitin which is part of the tail, so the harder part of the shell. I know you're thinking okay that's gross no just have a little bit of it chew on it and make sure you chew it well but this will help your microbiome it helps to feed the good flora in your gut and helps with proper digestion.

Psyllium seeds

As well as psyllium seed husk is a great way to ensure that you're getting enough fiber in your diet I actually take it in a supplement and it's an ultra-fine powder in the capsules that I take for mycelium to help with my colon detox.
