9 Tips to Get Rid of Parasites

Introduction

Don't let your gut health slow you down in terms of enjoying a healthy and happy life. Parasites and candida are a big issue for a lot of people whether you know it or not. I’ve got nine of my best tips to help deal with parasites and candida.

Tip #1: Decrease Exposure

Decrease your exposure to those things that may be giving you those parasites. Certain food items, such as sushi, are well-known for their association with parasitic infections. If you have a pet or you are gardening out in the garden, make sure that you are decreasing your exposure by washing your hands really well.

Tip #2: Eat in a Relaxed Setting & Outside

Consuming meals outdoors in a relaxed setting can significantly benefit your gut health by promoting the secretion of digestive enzymes. Additionally, dining outside provides the right information to your microbiome, which is closely linked to our circadian rhythms. Exposure to natural light not only influences our biological clocks but also enhances the communication between our internal systems and the external environment. By embracing outdoor meals, you can positively impact your gut microbiome and help stave off less favorable organisms, ultimately supporting your overall well-being.

Tip #3: Digestive Enzyme Supplement

Tip three is to take a good quality plant-based digestive enzyme supplement. Digestive enzymes help you to break down your really important food. They also can help to weaken the outer walls of parasites and when you're doing a parasite cleansing protocol with herbal medicines it is important to use those digestive enzymes in a great plant-based formula to help to weaken those parasites.

Tip #4: Herbal Medicines

Using digestive enzymes in conjunction with herbal medicines enhances the effectiveness of the herbal medicines in eliminating parasites and Candida. Weakening the candida/parasites with a digestive enzyme and then using specific herbal medicines can be really effective at killing off the parasites and Candida. My preferred combination includes clove, sweet Annie, black walnut, and oregano, which have proven to be highly effective in eliminating Candida/parasites.

Tip #5: Take Fiber

Imagine you're eliminating parasites that may have been stuck and suctioned onto your intestinal walls, such as hookworms and tapeworms. It's important to clean and sweep those intestinal walls, and that's why I love fiber. It helps to bulk up the stool and facilitates the cleansing process. Supplements like psyllium seed husk fiber are fantastic for sweeping off and cleaning the intestinal walls, dislodging anything that may have been stuck there, including dead parasites and candida. Fiber helps to bind these unwanted substances and move them out of the system.

Tip #6: Full-Body Detox

Tip number 6 is doing a full-body detox. This is where many people go wrong with parasite cleansing and candida cleansing, which is often why they don’t feel well during these types of cleanses. If you haven't followed up with some herbal medicines to support your internal organs during the full-body detox, it's really important. Taking specific full-body detox herbal medicines in combination can help your liver, lungs, digestive tract, blood, and lymphatic system flush out toxins in a natural and healthy way.

Tip #7: Probiotics

Put the good guys back in! That means yes to probiotics. Probiotics support your good, healthy gut flora. There are good formulations out there, just make sure there are no fillers or flow agents—no magnesium stearate in your probiotic. Specific strains, such as Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium bifidum, are particularly effective at reintroducing the good guys.

Tip #8: Functional Protein Powder

Tip number 8 to help with parasites and candida is to take a functional protein powder. This is fantastic because the right protein powder will be gentle on digestion. It will help seal those tight junctions in the gut, as we know that leaky gut syndrome is closely related to having parasites and candida. Therefore, using a good functional protein powder that contains accessory nutrients in addition to the protein itself can be beneficial for healing the gut wall and supporting those tight junctions.

Tip #9: Mind-Body Connection

For eradicating parasites and candida from the body, it’s important to establish a mind-body connection. I want you to consider this because I've observed in my patients that those who tend to have more issues with candida, parasites, and gut health often allow certain parasitic people or situations to remain in their lives. Think about a parasite: it lodges in and makes its home in your body, even though it's not welcome. Reflect on this in your own relationships, especially if you suffer from parasites and candida. Consider what you may need to do from a mind-body perspective to remove those situations or people that have a draining effect on your mental well-being.
