3 Tips to Increase Vision

Introduction

The cells of the cornea regenerate every two days and that is one of the promising things about your vision. You can literally see the difference that your diet and some of the things that we'll talk about today can really make in your vision and how quickly things can improve. The majority of what we see or don't see is related to the connection of our eyes to our brain health and how the brain perceives what we're looking at.

Tip #1 Take a Lutein & Zeaxanthin Supplement

My first tip is to consider taking a lutein and a zeaxanthin supplement, this is something that I take every single day. The African marigold plant is a beautiful flower that I actually grow in my backyard in the summertime. The African Marigold Extract that comes from this flower is amazing due to that high concentration of the lutein and the zeaxanthin. Lutein and zeaxanthin are very protective antioxidants for the macula at the back of the eye, helping to counteract damage from things like blue light. If you take a look at the African Marigold plant, you’ll notice it is yellow and orange. These pigments help to protect the macula from the blue light that comes into our eyes from our electronic gadgets and all of the artificial light we have in our homes. If you look at the opposite sides of a colour wheel, you'll see that the opposite of blue is of course orange and yellow colours. Mother Nature doesn't make mistakes, she knows exactly what she's doing and that's why I love the lutein and the zeaxanthin!

Tip #2 Take a Bilberry Supplement

Bilberry is an herbal medicine that has been used for centuries in Europe to protect and provide antioxidants to the eyes. Bilberry is also amazing at protecting from free radical damage helping to improve vision.

Tip #3 Practice Palming Eye Exercise

My third tip is to practise the Dr. Bates method of palming. Bates was someone who worked with a lot of his patients to naturally increase vision. The first step is to create some heat and energy between your hands and then what you're going to do is close your eyes gently and cup your hands over the eyes. A lot of the time our vision problems can be caused by very tense muscles around the eyes and with the palming method, what we're doing is actively trying to relax all of those muscles around our eyes. You can do this palming method for about two minutes once or twice a day every single day it will do wonders for improving your vision.
