Face Exercise for Hooded Eyes | Gua Sha Face Massage

If you're looking for a natural way to lift those hooded eyes, I've got a great face exercise using a guasa for you. This is a guasa face massage to help with naturally lifting this area without the need for injections or anything artificial. Instead, we're focusing on the muscles around the eyes, specifically the orbicularis oculus, the temporalis, which is located above the ears, and the large muscle, the frontalis

Prep For Massage

Prepare for massage by applying a small amount of natural oil, like this coconut oil, to your clean skin just above your eye. One eye may be slightly more hooded than the other depending on whether or not you sleep on your side, so in this case, I'm going to work on my left side, so I'm just applying a small amount of that coconut oil. It's nice to have a little bit of slip for your Gua Sha.

Lymph Drainage

If you're unfamiliar with lymph drainage, please watch one of my earlier videos on how to conduct it. This is my lymph drainage regimen. Now that you're putting your gloss on, you should really open up your lymphatic system to allow for the drainage of all the congestion that might occur in your head and neck.

Dr. Janine Explains Her Favorite Point of Gua Sha

Dr. Janine Describes Her Favorite Gua Sha Point I like to use the pointy tip of the guasa. This is a bit more aggressive, so if you're new to this you might want to start somewhere else and not press as hard, but I just I go for the Gusto when I'm doing anything. It's just the same as getting a regular massage. I prefer deep tissue massages because I need to feel the pressure and the agony, but all you have to do is hold your hair back if you have any there.

Massage Demonstration

Problems with the muscles and nerves come in at number four. When we talk about muscles, we also talk about nerves, so if you're experiencing tingling in your nerves, this could be related to that low DHA. All of our nerve cells, so imagine this is a nerve cell, and of course in order for proper nerves to function and for them to communicate with one another, they need to have that proper structure.
