Detox Iron magnesium migraines headaches

7 Natural Migraine Relief Tips

Introduction

If you suffer from a lot of headaches, you're getting migraines, I've got seven fantastic natural tips that are going to help.

Tip #1: Limit EMF Exposure

Number one is to limit your EMF exposure. If you don't know what that is, EMFs are unnatural electromagnetic fields in your environment. This means Wi-Fi, your cell phone, etc. This exposure to these electromagnetic frequencies can be a causative factor for migraines. It is important to do an inventory of all of these EMFs in your environment. I've got other videos on exactly how to mitigate your risk and decrease your exposure but this is important especially if you're prone to those migraines/headaches and they're happening quite often.

Check out the Dr. Janine Podcast with Nick “The EMF Guy” Pineault. In this podcast, Dr. Janine talks to Nick "The EMF Guy" Pineault about the side effects of EMF exposure. Get informed about EMF and how to protect yourself!

Tip #2: Magnesium Bisglycinate

Tip number two for migraines is to ensure that you have optimal magnesium levels. This is a very important mineral, magnesium bisglycinate is my preferred type of magnesium to take. It helps to protect against EMF exposures by preventing calcium from entering your cells via your VGCCs. This is common when we have a lot of EMFs in our environment. Magnesium is a natural calcium channel blocker it's going to help to decrease that influx of calcium. Magnesium is also a natural muscle relaxant and that’s why I love the bisglycinate form of Magnesium. It does help to relieve that muscle tension that can go along with those chronic migraine headaches.

Tip #3: Iron Bisglycinate

Tip three is to make sure your iron levels are also optimized. Both magnesium but also an iron deficiency can cause chronic headaches and can be related to your migraine. Making sure that you're getting your blood work done with your doctor and seeing where your iron levels are at is important. If it has been suggested to you by your practitioner that you are not getting enough iron and maybe should be supplementing, I love the iron bisglycinate. It is really gentle on the stomach and is non-constipating so it will not backup your bowels.

Tip #4: Fix Leptin Resistance

Leptin Resistance is important because it affects your fat cells and feedback loops back to your brain, influencing how much food you want, your satiety levels, as well as your overall inflammatory response. These are tied to your leptin, as well as how much sunlight exposure you're getting on your skin and your melanin levels. That whole connection is very much related to having chronic inflammation, cardiovascular health and changes in your vasculature, which we know induces migraines when our blood flow changes. It is important to address leptin resistance in order to reduce inflammation and help to serve our blood vessels in a healthy way.

Tip #5: Limit Carbs

Tip five is to limit your carbohydrates, when you're spiking your blood glucose levels and things are not balanced this can wreak havoc not only on your overall metabolism and your insulin secretion but can trigger headaches and migraines. Especially when that blood sugar is dipping way down low and that's when you're going to be craving that Sugar. It can spark that headache, that migraine, so making sure that you're not overdoing it, especially with refined carbohydrates is going to go a long way in helping with your migraines.

Tip #6: Full Body Detox

The next tip is to do a full-body detox. Now this is something that if you've watched me before, you know that I recommend doing this at least three to four times per year. Full body detox involves taking specific herbal medicines to help detoxify the internal organs in a healthy, gentle, and very cleansing way. Detoxing is a great way to dump those extra toxins that we accumulate over time. Eliminating those toxins is helpful for those migraines. I've helped so many migraine sufferers with this tip alone.

Tip #7: Acupressure Point

Tip seven is to use a specific acupressure point called LI-4, in traditional Chinese medicine large intestine 4. It is related back to your digestion and your large intestine function. You may have noticed that you get more headaches, you maybe get migraines when your bowels are backed up. There is a direct link in terms of the way that our Che, our energy, flows through our meridians, and in traditional Chinese medicine the LI-4, the webbed part of your finger, is the master point for your head. Any type of head and neck issue you can press on this point doing that acupressure is going to help relieve that headache. Now the way that you find the point is by locating the web between your thumb and your first finger, right where the bones sort of meet, there's a v there you're going to press on that area in the direction of across your hand bones and when you find that point you feel an ache that kind of travels across your hand that's how you know that you've got that right point.
