Ashwagandha

Never Take Ashwagandha Until You Read This

Introduction

Do not consume ashwagandha until you have finished reading this. Ashwagandha is a lovely herbal medication known as withania somnifera which translates to sleep inducing in English and was also formerly known as Indian Ginseng.

It is an adaptogenic herbal medicine, which means that it helps your body adapt to different stressful conditions reducing stress and anxiety. This is one of the reasons why ashwagandha has become one of the most popular sought out herbal medicines in recent years.

High blood pressure is usually caused by stress and anxiety and ashwagandha can be a fantastic herbal medicine to aid in lowering blood pressure naturally. Research has also shown that it helps to increase muscle strength, balance blood sugar levels and it can even help with women's sexual function and fertility issues.

If you are going to take an ashwagandha supplement, my advice is to make sure that it has been tested and is coming from a reputable GMP company. Ashwagandha is known to be high in certain heavy metals, and because of this, it is vital that you make sure that you are getting a clean formulation.

You may also take ashwagandha for your thyroid, which is something that I like to take every night before bed. This not only helps me sleep better and cope better with stress throughout the day, but it also helps to support my thyroid gland.

It is good to take ashwagandha in the morning for stress management during the day, but it's also a great time to take it to help with your blood pressure because typically the stressors that can raise your blood pressure levels are going to be during the day.
